Job Title: Social Media Marketing Intern at Plants For Skin (PAID)

Job Description:
Plants For Skin, an all-natural skin and haircare store here in Lawrence Pa, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student majoring in marketing, communications, or business to gain valuable hands-on experience in the world of social media marketing. As our intern, you'll play a key role in promoting our brand, engaging with our audience, and showcasing the benefits of all-natural skincare and haircare products.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Instagram (reels, TikToks), Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive posting calendar to ensure consistent and strategic content distribution.
- Manage all social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to optimize our social media strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Use analytics tools to track the performance of social media content and provide insights for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, features, and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in college with a major in marketing, communications, or business.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique requirements for content creation.
- Proficient in producing engaging content for Instagram (reels, TikToks), Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with creating posting calendars and managing multiple social media accounts.
- Passion for and knowledge of all-natural skin and hair care products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and target audience preferences.
2. Assist in the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
3. Engage with customers and influencers through social media channels to build brand awareness.
4. Monitor and report on social media trends and competitor activities.
5. Collaborate with the content team to create compelling blog posts and articles related to all-natural skincare and haircare.
6. Help organize and participate in promotional events, both online and offline.
7. Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing product recommendations.

 

Additional Details:

1. Must be in the Pittsburgh area

2. You will be required to come into office couple times per week.

3. This is a hybrid position.
